What You'll Do

In this role, you will lead the commercial performance of the Cardiometabolic Business Unit, driving sustainable growth, market share expansion, and achievement of sales and profitability targets across the portfolio.

You will be responsible for developing and executing annual business and marketing plans, monitoring performance against approved budgets, and ensuring effective implementation of commercial strategies across the country. Working closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams, you will oversee brand performance, promotional investment, field execution, and business planning activities to deliver organizational objectives.

Your responsibilities will also include managing business unit operations, monitoring market performance, supporting strategic portfolio growth initiatives, and ensuring effective governance, reporting, and compliance with company standards and processes.

You Are Good At

  • Driving commercial growth through strategic sales and marketing leadership.
  • Developing and executing brand and portfolio growth strategies.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing high-performing commercial teams.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare professionals.
  • Managing business performance through data-driven decision-making.
  • Identifying market opportunities and translating them into growth initiatives.
  • Managing budgets, promotional investments, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Influencing stakeholders and collaborating effectively across functions.
  • Strengthening operational discipline and execution excellence.
  • Balancing strategic thinking with strong executional capability.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Science, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution. An MBA will be preferred.
  • 10–15 years of pharmaceutical industry experience with significant exposure to both sales and marketing functions.
  • 8–10 years of leadership experience in marketing and sales management roles.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics, brand management, and commercial operations.
  • Experience leading field force effectiveness, coaching, and performance management initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and business reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and spend significant time in the field.

This role reports directly to the General Manager Marketing & Sales and works closely with Sales Managers, District Sales Managers, Product Managers, and cross-functional commercial teams to drive business performance and strategic growth.
