About the Role

Abco Security Services is a rapidly growing nationwide security provider delivering Security Guarding, Mobile Patrols, CCTV Monitoring, and Integrated Security Solutions across Australia.

We are seeking a commercially driven Business Manager to take ownership of daily operations, sales conversion, workforce coordination, subcontractor management, and national business development.

This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in structured environments, can manage multiple moving parts, and is ready to scale a security business to the next level.

Key Responsibilities - Sales & Growth

• Manage day-to-day inbound and outbound lead follow-up
• Re-engage past clients and convert dormant accounts
• Prepare proposals and convert RFQs into long-term contracts
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across VIC, NSW, QLD, WA & SA
• Build strategic relationships with commercial, corporate, and industrial clients

Operations Management

• Oversee daily security operations
• Manage and coordinate security guards nationwide
• Monitor performance and ensure service compliance
• Liaise with site supervisors and respond to operational escalations
• Ensure guards are inducted, licensed, and compliant

Subcontractor & Workforce Coordination

• Manage subcontractor relationships across Australia
• Verify licensing, compliance, insurance, and documentation
• Maintain service quality standards
• Conduct performance reviews and reporting

Accounts & Administration Coordination

• Work closely with Accounts team for:
• Invoicing oversight
• Payroll reporting coordination
• Client payment follow-ups
• Monitor profitability and contract margins
• Support budgeting and cost control initiatives

Client Relationship Management

• Act as primary point of contact for key accounts
• Conduct regular service reviews
• Handle client escalations professionally
• Ensure high client retention and satisfaction

✔ Experience managing guards, subcontractors, or field teams
✔ High-level communication and negotiation skills
✔ Strong organisational and leadership abilities
✔ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
✔ Commercial mindset with focus on profitability
✔ Experience in the security industry (highly regarded)
✔ Knowledge of Security Award rates & compliance (advantage)

Salary
