The Role
We are looking for a Business Manager / Sales Director to run day-to-day operations and drive volume growth. This is a player-coach role: approximately 30% operations management and 70% business development. The right person will build and own referral relationships with PI attorneys, independent providers, direct primary care practices, and community health centers across the Omaha metro. You will manage a small but high-performing team and help us scale from ~30 MRIs/month to 60+. You will staff the front desk one day per week to stay connected to the patient experience and workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with personal injury attorneys, independent provider offices, direct primary care practices, community health centers (e.g. OneWorld), and other referral sources across the Omaha metro area
- Manage daily operations including scheduling, patient flow, staff oversight (2 MRI techs, 2 front desk), and vendor relationships
- Staff the front desk one day per week to maintain hands-on understanding of patient experience and operations
- Develop and execute marketing strategy: in-person attorney and provider visits, digital marketing coordination, networking events, and bar association engagement
- Track and report on key performance metrics: monthly MRI volume by referral source, revenue, and marketing activity
- Manage the facility P&L and monthly operating budget (~$30K/month in expenses)
- Coordinate with Expert Radiology on report delivery, turnaround times, and quality standards
- Support future commercial MRI expansion including ACR accreditation and insurance panel credentialing as the business grows
Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years in medical sales, healthcare business development, or imaging/clinic management
- Existing relationships with personal injury attorneys or healthcare providers in the Omaha/Lincoln market strongly preferred
- Understanding of PI lien-based billing workflows and settlement timelines
- Track record of building referral pipelines and growing case volume at a healthcare facility
- Comfortable managing a small team and handling operational details without extensive support staff
- Experience with commercial insurance credentialing is a plus but not required at this stage
- Self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial, small-business environment

- Base salary: $60,000–$70,000 (depending on experience)
- Volume bonus: $20–$25 per MRI above a 30/month baseline, paid monthly
- Equity participation: 10–15% profits interest in VitalView, vesting over 4 years with a 1-year cliff. You earn real ownership in the business you help build. At our projected Year 5 valuation, this could be worth $200K–$400K+
- Year 1 total cash compensation target: $80K–95K (base + volume bonus)
- Year 3–5 total value (cash + equity): Significantly higher for the right person who helps scale the business
