Business Office Billing Coordinator

Peregrine Senior Living at Shaker, a Senior Living community located in Albany, NY is currently seeking a dedicated Business Office Billing Coordinator

Schedule: Full Time

Salary: $19-$20/ hour – based on experience

Business Office Billing Coordinator Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate and assist with the financial and business operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, and expense tracking

  • Maintain resident financial records, contracts, and business files ensuring accuracy and compliance

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, families, vendors, and agencies regarding billing and financial inquiries

  • Support reception staff; provide coverage as needed

  • Manage front desk operations to ensure a welcoming and professional environment

  • Maintain vendor relationships and oversee supply ordering for the community

  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and safety procedures

  • Participate in safety programs, trainings, and support infection control practices

  • Provide administrative and clerical support including filing, document preparation, and communication

Business Office Billing Coordinator Education & Experience include:

  • Associate degree or bachelor degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in business office functions such as billing, payroll, or accounting

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and accounting software such as QuickBooks

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

  • Ability to interact professionally with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public
