The Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial and administrative operations of the facility. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all business office functions while supporting admissions, billing, and overall facility performance.

Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll processes

Oversee resident trust accounts and maintain accurate financial records

Ensure timely and accurate billing for Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance providers

Lead collections efforts and maintain strong follow-up processes

Supervise business office staff, including reception and financial roles

Support admissions with financial coordination and documentation

Maintain census reporting, bank deposits, and account reconciliations

Manage petty cash and ensure proper tracking and replenishment

Build and maintain professional relationships with residents, families, and vendors

Ensure compliance with all long-term care financial regulations and standards

Minimum of 1 year experience as a Business Office Manager in a skilled nursing facility preferred

Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party billing

Proven experience with accounts receivable and collections

Highly organized with strong attention to detail
