About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven Business Operations Analyst to support our organization’s operational excellence and strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights, process design expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance efficiency, optimize workflows, and strengthen business performance.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Data Analysis: Collect, cleanse, and analyze operational data from various internal systems to identify performance trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Operational Efficiency Improvement: Assess end-to-end business processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend strategic improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational overhead.
  • KPI Development & Monitoring: Design, implement, and track business KPIs to measure effectiveness and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Reporting & Performance Insights: Develop executive-level dashboards, management reports, and presentations that communicate clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Operations, HR, Finance, and Technology teams to ensure process alignment and successful execution of business initiatives.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform detailed investigations to determine underlying causes of operational issues and provide sustainable, data-backed solutions.
  • Process Documentation: Create and maintain SOPs, process flow diagrams, workflow documentation, and operational guidelines.
  • Project Support & Execution: Assist in planning and executing operational improvement, automation, and transformation projects across departments.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identify operational risks, analyze their impact, and propose effective mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Change Management Support: Facilitate smooth adoption of new processes or systems by coordinating training sessions and supporting teams during transitions.
  • Cost Optimization: Analyze resource utilization and recommend cost-effective strategies without compromising quality or service delivery.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Data Governance: Support data governance practices by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance in reporting and analytics.
  • System Enhancement Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams to optimize reporting tools, automate workflows, and improve data integration.
  • Operational Benchmarking: Monitor market and industry best practices to introduce innovative solutions and enhance business efficiency.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, business operations, or process optimization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Dashboards); familiarity with Power BI/Tableau is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or other analytical tools is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of business process frameworks and operational workflows.
  • Effective project management and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Lean Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt)
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
  • Business/Data Analytics Certification
  • CAPM or PMP Certification
  • SQL or Python Analytics Certification

Job Duties:

  • Conduct periodic internal audits to evaluate current practices and identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Gather insights through employee and leadership interviews, surveys, and workflow assessments.
  • Support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities with relevant data and analysis.
  • Assist in the development, testing, and implementation of new tools, systems, and operational processes.
  • Deliver training and guidance to employees during system or process rollouts.
  • Monitor emerging industry trends and recommend process innovations or performance improvements.
  • Coordinate with IT and cross-functional teams to support data integration, reporting enhancements, and system optimization.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
