Location: San Francisco, CA

Position: Full-time, In-Person

Compensation: $55,000 – $58,000 annually, DOE + benefits

Hours of work and days: Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m

Commute: Being based in San Francisco or having a reliable and reasonable commute is strongly preferred, as this is a full time, in person role with an 8:00 a.m. start.

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Business Operations Coordinator (Spanish & English fluency required) to support and streamline daily operations at our San Francisco flagship showroom. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless shipping, receiving, showroom support, and order fulfillment across both our in-person and e-commerce channels.

This is a hands on operations role with meaningful responsibility. You will be responsible for sorting and organizing orders, generating shipping labels, coordinating outbound shipments, and ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment. You will be entrusted with keeping operational workflows efficient and organized, a vital function within our growing company.

You will collaborate closely with our Brooklyn team to maintain consistent processes across both coasts, troubleshoot order related issues, and support overall operational excellence. Fluency in Spanish is essential to support our Spanish speaking clientele and strengthen relationships within our community.

This position is based at Color Atelier’s flagship showroom in the heart of the vibrant Mission District, steps from BART, Muni, shops, and restaurants. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate daily showroom operations, including sales activity, customer support, inventory flow, and in-store client experience.
  • Manage daily order workflow for both e-commerce and showroom sales, including organizing orders and generating shipping labels to ensure accurate and timely shipment.
  • Support Spanish speaking clients in the showroom and by phone as needed, ensuring clear, warm communication and a high quality experience.
  • Create and prepare custom color samples and materials for clients, designers, and trade partners to support sales and project decision-making.
  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory, maintaining accurate stock levels and ensuring timely restocking of showroom and back-of-house supplies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Brooklyn showroom and operations team to maintain consistent processes, troubleshoot order issues, and ensure smooth cross-location communication.
  • Support daily customer interactions, assisting clients with product questions, placing orders, and offering a polished and knowledgeable showroom experience.
  • Monitor operational workflows and identify opportunities for improvement, contributing to process efficiencies, fulfillment accuracy, and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, hands-on environment where no task is too small.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in operations, order fulfillment, e-commerce, or customer service.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with standard business software (inventory systems, spreadsheets, shipping platforms, online tools).
  • Willingness to develop in-depth product knowledge of Color Atelier finishes.
  • College degree preferred.
