Business Operations & Growth Assistant (Amusement Vending Company)

About Us:
We are a growing amusement vending company specializing in placing and operating equipment across a variety of retail locations. Our business is fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and constantly evolving. We’re looking for a highly resourceful and proactive assistant to help streamline operations, identify growth opportunities, and support day-to-day business functions.

Role Overview:
This is a dynamic, multi-functional role for someone who thrives on variety and problem-solving. You’ll work closely with the owner to help manage operations, source products and suppliers, research opportunities, and improve overall efficiency. No two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and source products, parts, and equipment for our vending operations
  • Identify and evaluate new business locations for equipment placement
  • Communicate with existing suppliers (including international vendors) and help source new ones
  • Assist with negotiating pricing, terms, and logistics with suppliers
  • Support marketing efforts, including managing and growing social media accounts (content creation, posting, engagement, and basic analytics)
  • Manage the visual appeal and merchandising of machines, including optimizing the mix of product offerings to maximize customer engagement and revenue
  • Analyze opportunities for business growth and expansion
  • Help improve operational systems and identify efficiencies
  • Coordinate orders, shipments, and inventory tracking
  • Perform general administrative and operational support tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Strong research and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience managing or growing social media accounts for a business or brand
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and engagement strategies
  • An eye for merchandising, product presentation, and customer appeal
  • Comfortable working with international suppliers and across time zones
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in common tools (Google Workspace, Excel, etc.)
  • Experience in sourcing, operations, e-commerce, or supply chain is an asset
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take initiative

Nice to Have:

  • Experience dealing with overseas manufacturers (especially in China)
  • Experience with social media advertising or content planning
  • Basic marketing or sales experience
  • Familiarity with vending, amusement, or coin-operated industries

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
