At Embassy Bank, the Business Solutions Representative acts as a liaison between the bank and its customer by identifying the customer’s business solutions needs. You will be responsible for building new relationships and growing existing ones through anticipating the needs of, and regularly calling on, potential and existing business customers. You will sell various products and services, such as payment processing solutions, deposit solutions including positive pay and remote deposit along with all other business banking solutions. It is this individual’s job to understand their customers’ goals and to make banking easy for their customers. The candidate must have an extensive knowledge of the banking industry. They must be strategic, have excellent customer service skills and be visionary for their clients. They will help their customers navigate through the numerous Business Solution products and services available. The ideal candidate will be able to understand their customers’ needs and build a solid relationship with those customers.

This is an inside and outside sales position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of bank operations and business products: ACH & Funds Transfer, Fraud Products (Positive Pay), RDC, Merchant Services, Credit Card, Business Online banking, Escrow Management, Account Analysis, Business Deposit Products, Cash Management & Government Banking.
  • Always maintain an exemplary level of customer service.
  • Analyze and provide comprehensive banking services to business customers.
  • Complete and evaluate business solution product applications, documentation and agreements and ensure compliance with current bank policies and procedures along with banking regulations.
  • Promote and cross-sell all Business Solution products and services as appropriate to customers’ requirements.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with business customers to initiate an increase in business.
  • Act as the primary contact for Business customers.
  • Meet with business customers, listen to their needs and goals, and propose recommendations on how the bank’s business solutions can assist them with meeting those goals.
  • Perform product research and identify appropriate solutions for the customer’s requirements and satisfaction.
  • Prepare analysis pro forma and sales proposals for customer/prospect presentations.
  • Assist Business Solution’s customers with product training, demonstrations, and services.
  • Onboarding of Business Solution products.
  • Track sales and service activities and timelines to ensure products and services are delivered on time and all timeframes are met.

Experience, Skill and Abilities Required

  • Excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Knowledge of Business Banking Products.
  • Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via email by utilizing proper grammar skills.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products.
  • Proficient in Technology.
  • Must be quality and detail oriented yet understand the level of detail appropriate for the given situation.
  • Knowledge of Credit Card Processing very desirable.
  • Able to modify sales approach to suit customer/prospect personality.
  • Adaptable, open to, and respectful of differing points of view.
  • Ability to cope with change in a positive manner.
  • Seize opportunities without direction; self-reliant and innovative.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while adjusting goals and priorities.
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure while meeting requirements and deadlines.
  • Enjoy working in a Team environment.
