Job Summary

The Business Studies Teacher is responsible for teaching students as per the CBSE curriculum, fostering conceptual understanding of business, management, and economics, and preparing students for board examinations while encouraging critical thinking and real-world application.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities

• Teach Business Studies to Classes XI and XII in accordance with the CBSE syllabus and guidelines
• Plan and deliver engaging lesson plans using effective teaching methodologies
• Explain business concepts such as management, marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, and organizational behavior
• Integrate case studies, real-life examples, and project-based learning
• Prepare students for CBSE board examinations, internal assessments, and projects

Assessment & Evaluation

• Design worksheets, assignments, tests, and question papers as per CBSE assessment patterns
• Evaluate answer scripts, projects, and practical work objectively
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
• Provide feedback and remedial support to students when required

Classroom Management

• Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment
• Encourage student participation, discussions, and presentations
• Support inclusive education and address diverse learning needs

Administrative & Professional Duties

• Participate in curriculum planning, staff meetings, and school events
• Maintain lesson plans, academic records, and documentation
• Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary learning
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
• Engage in continuous professional development and CBSE training programs

Qualifications & SkillsEducational Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Commerce / Business Studies / Management (M.Com / MBA preferred)
• B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms)

Skills & Competencies

• Strong subject knowledge of CBSE Business Studies syllabus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to use smart boards, digital tools, and online teaching platforms
• Student-centered teaching approach
• Good classroom management and interpersonal skills

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred
• Freshers with strong subject knowledge may also apply (as per school policy)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
