Business Systems Analyst – Contract Opportunity (Onsite, Glendale, AZ)
Our client, a local government agency, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (contractor) to support IT policy and project initiatives. This is a 2-month W2 contract with a potential extension based on project needs. The position is onsite in Glendale, AZ, and offers an hourly rate of $38.00–$49.00 (DOE). C2C and visa sponsorship (including H1B) are not available.

Research IT policies and partner with subject matter experts to draft, revise, and finalize clear, compliant policy documents.

Develop and maintain models, use cases, process flows, diagrams, specifications, and charts to guide IT teams and vendors.

Organize and manage technical documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.

Create and update training materials in support of IT policies and initiatives.

Participate in requirements-gathering sessions to define business needs, specifications, and process improvements.

Evaluate system compatibility and interoperability across platforms and technologies.

Research technology solutions and services to support procurement, prepare recommendations, and justify IT investments.

Identify existing organizational solutions or recommend new alternatives as appropriate.

Prepare cost estimates, cost-benefit analyses, project justifications, and business cases for funding approval.

Provide comprehensive documentation and analysis to support IT initiatives.

Minimum 3+ years of experience supporting IT projects and initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.

Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
