Position Summary:
The Business Systems & Integration Analyst is responsible for identifying, implementing, and managing AI-powered business systems and designing integrations between applications and data sources to enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, and customer experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment. This role acts as a bridge between business units, IT, and data science, ensuring that technology solutions—including AI and automation—are aligned with strategic goals and deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities:
Systems Analysis & AI Integration
- Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for AI and automation in workflows and systems.
- Evaluate, implement, and maintain AI-driven platforms (e.g., chatbots, predictive analytics, automation tools).
- Serve as a liaison between IT, data science, and business teams to ensure alignment of AI initiatives with strategic goals.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party AI tools, ensuring compliance with security and data governance standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation for AI systems, including architecture, workflows, and user guides.
- Monitor performance and usage of AI tools, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Support change management and training efforts related to AI system adoption.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and trends relevant to SaaS and enterprise IT.
Business Systems Integration
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical integration solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement APIs, middleware, and data pipelines to connect disparate systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS, cloud platforms).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and data consistency.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration workflows, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Maintain documentation for integration processes, data mappings, and system configurations.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards.
- Evaluate and recommend integration tools, platforms, and best practices.
- Support change management and training efforts related to new integrations.
IT Governance & Compliance
- Ensure all systems and integrations comply with IT governance, security, and data privacy policies.
- Support audits and reviews of internal systems and software usage to ensure compliance.
Skills and Experience Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business systems analysis, systems integration, IT project management, or enterprise software implementation.
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and tools (e.g., NLP, RPA, LLMs, predictive analytics).
- Experience with SaaS platforms and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Zapier, Workato, Azure Logic Apps).
- Experience with APIs (REST, SOAP), web services, and data formats (JSON, XML).
- Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and ETL tools.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell) is a plus.
- Understanding of enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday).
- Certifications in AI, business analysis, integration tools, or project management (e.g., CBAP, PMP, Azure AI Engineer) a plus.
