Business Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Business Teacher to deliver instruction across international curricula such as IGCSE Business Studies, A Level Business, GED Social Studies/Economics, and SAT Economics (as applicable). The teacher will provide a strong foundation in business principles and connect theory to real-world applications, helping learners succeed in exams and develop practical insight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Business Studies for IGCSE, A Levels, GED, and related programs
• Prepare learners for written and project-based assessments in line with exam board standards (e.g., Edexcel, Cambridge, GED)
• Use student-centered teaching strategies to engage learners with different needs and learning styles
• Promote business literacy, critical thinking, and ethical reasoning
• Track learner progress, provide ongoing feedback, and identify areas for improvement
• Develop instructional materials, mock tests, and lesson plans tailored to exam goals
• Collaborate with academic staff to align instruction with AEI’s objectives
• Attend academic meetings, training sessions, and curriculum review discussions
• Encourage learners to explore real-world entrepreneurship, leadership, and decision-making skills

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or business education certificate) preferred but not mandatory
• Teaching experience in Business, Economics, or related subjects is an advantage but not required
• Familiarity with IGCSE Business, A Level Business, GED, or SAT Economics content is a plus
• Solid understanding of business concepts such as marketing, finance, operations, entrepreneurship, and HR
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience using business tools and technology is advantageous but not necessary
• Ability to engage learners of different ages and cultural backgrounds
• Good organizational skills and adaptability
