Business Unit Head

The main purpose of Redington Turkey is to provide marketing, technical support and consultancy services through business partners operating in the field of informatics, with a value-added business model understanding of the products it represents.


With its knowledge and experience-based pre-sales and after-sales services, Redington Turkey provides events in every aspect of the product, from the Demo Center to the training center, from periodic product maintenance to technical support.


The Software Business Unit Head is responsible for leading and scaling the software business across defined markets by driving revenue growth, expanding partner ecosystem, and ensuring strong vendor alignment. This role owns the end-to-end commercial strategy, including sales execution, partner development, and team leadership, with full accountability for business performance and P&L.


Qualifications


  • 10+ years of professional experience, with a significant portion in leadership roles
  • Proven people management experience is mandatory, with a strong track record of leading high-performing teams
  • Experience in the technology distribution or vendor ecosystem (distributor, vendor, or channel business)
  • Must have advanced English proficiency (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate effectively in a global environment
  • Experience in managing cross-functional and multicultural teams across regions is highly preferred


Key Responsibilities

Business & Revenue Ownership

  • Own and drive the overall software business strategy, ensuring achievement of revenue, margin, and growth targets
  • Build and maintain a strong and predictable software pipeline, identifying new business opportunities and market expansion areas
  • Drive cross-sell and up-sell strategies by aligning software solutions with customer and partner needs
  • Establish a sustainable partner-driven business model with strong product and services revenue streams
  • Lead and expand the software business across Türkiye, Central Asia, and Caucasus regions, ensuring consistent growth and market penetration

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing software sales team
  • Define clear targets, KPIs, and performance frameworks for the team
  • Coach and develop team members to enhance sales capabilities and software expertise

Partner & Ecosystem Management

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard the right partners in alignment with business strategy
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with key partners and their executive stakeholders
  • Work closely with partners to drive adoption of software and cloud solutions across hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud)
  • Create a strong partner “economy” by ensuring profitability, growth, and long-term commitment to the vendor portfolio

Vendor & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Collaborate with vendors to align on go-to-market strategies, investments, and growth plans
  • Act as a key interface between vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Advocate for partners in customer engagements and joint business development activities

Customer Engagement & Market Development

  • Participate in strategic customer meetings alongside partners to drive solution adoption
  • Position software solutions effectively by understanding customer business challenges
  • Stay up to date with market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologie
