We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Business Unit Manager to join our team and take our Upwork profile from zero to a competitive level. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership abilities, experience in driving business growth, and the capability to manage day-to-day operations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Build and grow our Upwork profile from scratch
- Manage daily operations of the business unit
- Handle client communication, project coordination, and performance tracking
- Achieve sales targets and guide the team accordingly
- Conduct market analysis and plan growth strategies
- Build processes, strategies, and team structure from the ground up
- Collaborate with internal teams for smooth workflow
Requirements:
- At least 4–5 years of professional experience
- Strong English communication skills (spoken & written)
- Strong team-management and leadership abilities
- Solid background in market research, sales, Upwork bidding, and operations
- Goal-oriented, responsible, and self-motivated
- Ability to grow a department and online profiles from scratch
