We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Business Unit Manager to join our team and take our Upwork profile from zero to a competitive level. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership abilities, experience in driving business growth, and the capability to manage day-to-day operations effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow our Upwork profile from scratch
  • Manage daily operations of the business unit
  • Handle client communication, project coordination, and performance tracking
  • Achieve sales targets and guide the team accordingly
  • Conduct market analysis and plan growth strategies
  • Build processes, strategies, and team structure from the ground up
  • Collaborate with internal teams for smooth workflow

Requirements:

  • At least 4–5 years of professional experience
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken & written)
  • Strong team-management and leadership abilities
  • Solid background in market research, sales, Upwork bidding, and operations
  • Goal-oriented, responsible, and self-motivated
  • Ability to grow a department and online profiles from scratch
