Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and beverages with precision, ensuring quality standards are met consistently
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable to process orders accurately and efficiently
• Assist in food handling, cooking, meat cutting, and meal preparation to support kitchen operations
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, dining areas, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
• Buss tables, clear dishes, and support host/hostess duties to provide seamless guest experiences
• Support catering events and banquet functions by setting up stations and assisting with food service
• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering settings
• Knowledge of kitchen procedures including food preparation, cooking techniques, knife skills, and meat cutting
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities
• Ability to handle food safely and adhere to all food handling regulations and safety protocols
• Previous experience as a dietary aide or in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or barista is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
