Busser, Food Runner, and Host

a key front-of-house (FOH) support staff member responsible for maintaining restaurant cleanliness and efficiency by clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables, typically for new guests. They support servers by replenishing water, assisting with food running, and stocking side stations, ensuring a seamless, fast-paced service flow.

Responsibilities

• Table Turnover: Clearing dirty dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and resetting tables with clean linens and silverware.
• Dining Area Maintenance: Sweeping floors, cleaning chairs, removing trash, and cleaning spills to maintain a welcoming environment.
• Server Support: Assisting with water refills, bread service, and delivering food from the kitchen to the tables.
• Safety & Sanitation: Adhering to health regulations, including proper dish handling and sanitizing procedures.

Requirements & Physical Demands

• Physical Strength: Ability to stand/walk for long periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Speed & Efficiency: Working quickly in a fast-paced environment to minimize guest wait times.
• Communication: Interacting with staff to report table status and guest needs.
• Availability: Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
