Must be 21+ with Food Handlers and RBS certification, as well as 1+ year of Barista experience. No exceptions.

Duties

• Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
• Assist baristas by restocking supplies, preparing ingredients, and supporting food and beverage presentation
• Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and process transactions using POS systems such as Toast or Clover
• Ensure food safety standards are upheld during food handling and preparation activities
• Support cash handling procedures with basic math skills for accurate cashiering and sales recording
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, counters, and service areas throughout shifts
• Help with food preparation tasks to support efficient café operations and ensure timely service

Skills

• Previous barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation
• Familiarity with POS systems like Clover or Toast for efficient order processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
• Excellent time management to handle multiple tasks smoothly during busy periods
• Basic math proficiency for cash handling, retail math, and sales calculations
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures in a café setting
• Experience in serving or food industry roles that require attention to detail and quick thinking
