Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and committed Busser and/or Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The Busser plays a crucial role in contributing to an exceptional dining experience, setting tables efficiently, refilling waters/chips and cleaning with detail. The Host is responsible for greeting and seating guests and managing reservations and phone calls. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
*Must have weekend and holiday availability*
Duties
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for events or large parties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and cleaning up spills or messes as needed.
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their requests promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in roles involving catering, kitchen support, or customer service. No experience required, however, for applicants with a strong willingness to learn and work hard.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
