Host / Hostess
Pay: $18.00 per hour + tips
Schedule: Minimum 4 days per week (weekends and evenings may be required)
Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, manage reservations, coordinate seating, and help create a welcoming dining experience for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and thank them as they leave.
- Manage reservations and waitlists using the Tock reservation platform.
- Answer phone calls and assist guests with reservation inquiries.
- Coordinate guest seating and maintain an organized flow of service.
- Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff.
- Monitor dining room capacity and wait times.
- Assist with guest requests and resolve concerns in a professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming host stand and entrance area.
- Support the team to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous host, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
- Comfortable using technology and learning reservation software, including Tock.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
