Busser/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser Food Runner or Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff.

Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Assist servers by ensuring that all necessary items are available for each table, including condiments, utensils, and drink refills.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bussing tables as needed.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests.
• Support catering events by assisting with setup and breakdown as required.
• Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining experience for guests.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred; experience in hotel or catering settings is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
