About the Role
The Business Development Manager plays a key role in expanding the company’s presence in the market by building strong relationships with local dealers, contractors, architects, builders, and corporate clients. This is a field-focused role that requires active market visits, lead generation, partnership development, and driving revenue growth for the interior design office.English is must.
Key Responsibilities1. Market Development & Dealer Network
- Identify, connect, and maintain relationships with local dealers, vendors, contractors, and channel partners.
- Expand the company’s dealer network to increase business opportunities.
- Conduct regular field visits to meet potential partners and understand market demand.
2. B2B Sales & Client Acquisition
- Generate new business leads through B2B outreach, networking, and industry connections.
- Present the company’s interior design services and solutions to prospective clients.
- Convert leads into long-term business relationships.
3. Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong professional relationships with architects, builders, project managers, and interior material suppliers.
- Provide timely follow-ups and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new partners.
- Address client queries and coordinate with the design and operations teams.
4. Sales Growth & Revenue Targets
- Work towards achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and presentations for clients.
- Track market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
5. Field Visits & On-Ground Activities
- Conduct daily field visits to local markets, dealers, construction sites, and corporate locations.
- Attend trade exhibitions, industry events, and local networking meetups.
- Ensure strong brand visibility in target areas.
6. Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain detailed reports on sales activities, leads, and client interactions.
- Share weekly and monthly updates with management.
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to support sales strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales (preferably in interior design, architecture, building materials, modular furniture, real estate, or construction-related industries).
- Strong local market knowledge and an existing network in the interior or construction sector is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
