Qatar Meat Production Company (Mawashi) is a key supplier of livestock and meat products in Qatar, supporting large-scale food distribution for retail, wholesale, and government supply chains. The Butcher / Meat Cutter role is an important part of ensuring safe, high-quality meat processing for the community.

About the Role:

As a Butcher / Meat Cutter, you will work in a structured meat production environment such as slaughterhouses, processing plants, and cold storage facilities. Your work helps ensure that meat is prepared safely, hygienically, and in line with Halal standards before reaching customers across Qatar.

What You’ll Do:

• Cut, trim, debone, and portion beef, lamb, and goat meat
• Follow Halal slaughtering and processing requirements
• Operate knives, saws, and meat processing equipment safely
• Sort and prepare meat cuts for different supply channels
• Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP)
• Work in cold storage and refrigerated environments
• Package and label meat for distribution
• Check meat quality, freshness, and proper handling
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in butchery or meat cutting is preferred (training may be provided)
• Understanding of Halal meat processing practices
• Ability to work in cold environments (0°C to 5°C)
• Strong knife handling and safety awareness
• Physical fitness and stamina for manual work
• Basic knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards

Pay: From QAR3,500.00 per month
