Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Butcher with daily protein preparation and portioning
• Support cutting, trimming, and portion control of meat and seafood items
• Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards at all times
• Monitor stock levels and assist in minimizing waste
• Prepare mise en place efficiently for daily operations
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Follow instructions accurately and work at pace during busy periods
• Support receiving and proper storage of deliveries

Compensation & Benefits

Working Schedule

5-6 days per week (rotational schedule). Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of meat portioning and protein handling
• Previous experience in butchery, kitchen prep, or a culinary environment preferred
• Ability to communicate in English
• Chef background considered an advantage
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under supervision
• Strong attention to detail and waste control awareness
• Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
• Professional attitude with good teamwork skills
