MADO Restaurant is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Butcher to join our back-of-house team. The ideal candidate will have experience in meat preparation, portioning, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and consistency of meat products used in our dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cut, trim, and portion all types of meat according to restaurant standards.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all meat products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the butchery area at all times.
  • Follow food safety procedures and adhere to HACCP guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet daily production needs.
  • Monitor inventory and report any shortages or quality concerns.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a butcher, preferably in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of meat cuts, techniques, and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina and attention to detail.
  • Team player with a professional and positive attitude.
