Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to join our dynamic procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the timely acquisition of quality materials and services. Your expertise will drive cost efficiencies, optimize supply chain operations, and support manufacturing and production goals. The ideal candidate is energized by building strategic supplier partnerships, analyzing market trends, and implementing procurement best practices to meet organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure products in line with company needs and budgets.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best deals.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and continually seek new opportunities to improve the supply chain.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and smooth procurement processes.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about new products, suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure all purchased items meet the company’s quality and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in a buyer, procurement, or purchasing role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• SAP or ERP is a Plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in Importing and distributing environment.
• Knowledge of industry trends and new product offerings.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
