We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Buyer to join our team.

Position Title: Buyer
Position Summary:
The Buyer position includes significant duties such as:
  • Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policy and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand, plan inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and supplier performance.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Research and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with vendors.
  • Analyze market trends. Pricing and quality of products to ensure the best value for the organization.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations and best practices.
  • Develop and implement new strategies for procuring, storing and distributing goods and services.
  • Initiates return processes with suppliers, ensuring timely communication of Non-Conformance Material Reports.
  • Ensure proactive communication with vendors to confirm order details, lead times and delivery expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP system involving pricing, lead times, and other vendor changes.
  • Flexible, adaptable and comfortable in a growing company, passionate about improving processes and contributing to a growing organization.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline purchasing practices and strengthen supplier relationships.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum three years’ experience in procurement or purchasing
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management or related field, preferred
  • Certificate in procurement or supply chain management preferred
  • Experience in vendor management and supplier relationship management.
  • Proven track record of cost savings and process improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in ERP Systems (e.g. SAP)
