We are looking for a highly driven and ownership-oriented Buyer to join our growing team, specialising in natural and lab-grown jewellery. This role suits someone who makes confident buying decisions, manages multiple priorities with ease, and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

You will be responsible for procurement, pricing, inventory planning, supplier management, and product data, directly impacting product quality, availability, and profitability.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head Buyer, you will manage the complete buying lifecycle for natural and lab-grown jewellery. From selecting the right products at the right price to maintaining accurate inventory and supporting sales, this role offers high responsibility, autonomy, and visibility within the business.

Key Responsibilities1. Buying & Inventory Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with jewellery suppliers to secure quality products and competitive pricing
• Plan and manage inventory through regular stock reviews and strategic buying plans
• Execute purchases aligned with margin targets and pricing strategy
• Oversee invoice verification and internal approval (Mazal) processes
• Track sales performance and adjust buying strategies accordingly
• Manage memo stock, returns, and coordination with suppliers and dispatch teams
• Support new product launches by ensuring accurate stock details, media, and specifications

2. Product Listing & Data Management

• Maintain accurate spreadsheets and digital folders for product images, videos, memos, and attributes
• Update product data across internal systems, shared files, and external databases
• Manage SKUs and ensure correct categorisation for inventory tracking and reporting

3. Pricing & Cost Strategy

• Recommend pricing based on supplier costs, market benchmarks, and internal margin targets
• Participate in repricing cycles to ensure competitive and profitable inventory
• Identify cost optimisation opportunities without compromising quality

4. Sales Support & Supplier Coordination

• Prepare curated product selections to support sales teams and client requirements
• Obtain supplier quotes, negotiate pricing, confirm availability, and follow up on orders
• Coordinate shipping, returns, and ongoing supplier communication

5. Administration & Compliance

• Collect and manage KYC documentation from jewellery suppliers
• Maintain memo logs, return records, and invoicing support
• Monitor payment terms, credit arrangements, and supplier compliance

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Buyer (jewellery, diamonds, luxury goods, or related categories preferred)
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently without micromanagement
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in Excel and product/data management systems
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work UK hours in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
