Job Title: Buyer - Purchasing Department
Job Summary
The Buyer is responsible for managing the end-to-end purchasing process, including supplier communication, price negotiation, and purchase order execution. This role works closely with overseas factories-primarily in China-to ensure product availability, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery, while cross-functionally supporting internal teams such as Product Development, Creative and Logistics.
Key Responsibilities

Communicate daily with overseas factories to manage orders, timelines, and production updates

Negotiate and finalize purchase pricing, terms, and agreements with suppliers

Issue purchase orders and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery

Coordinate with Product Development and Creative teams to align on product specifications and timelines

Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas suppliers and partners

Track open orders, proactively identify delays, and implement solutions to meet shipping deadlines

Resolve discrepancies related to pricing, invoices, quality issues, and production concerns
QualificationsRequirements

Eligible to work in the USA is required
-
Minimum 3 years of purchasing or sourcing experience in an import/trading or consumer products environment

Strong experience working with overseas factories, preferably in China

Fluent in English and Mandarin (required)

Proven negotiation skills with a strong understanding of cost structures and pricing

Experience with tabletop products (dinnerware, flatware, glassware) a plus

Solid knowledge of production timelines and factory processes

Excellent organizational, follow-up, and project management skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with tight deadlines
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
