Buyer – Electronics

Job Overview
We are seeking a Buyer to source and procure electronic components that meet the organization’s cost, quality, and delivery standards. This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring timely processing of purchase orders. The ideal candidate will analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement efforts. Attention to compliance and accurate documentation of all purchasing activities is essential. Experience with EEE commodities and sourcing for DOD or Prime Defense Contractors is a significant plus.

Summary:

• Receive orders from sales and work with sales to understand the purchasing requirements
• Identify potential suppliers (distributors or manufacturers)
• Request quotes from suppliers
• Analyze and identify best sourcing options
• Negotiate as needed with suppliers
• Place purchase orders

Must Haves:

• Experience sourcing raw materials or finished goods
• Strong communication skills, this role requires a high level of communication with internal colleagues and external suppliers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
