Role Definition :

The Buyer – Projects Purchasing will be responsible for end-to-end procurement and project support for electro-mechanical systems. This includes managing material procurement, cost tracking against budgets, coordinating project approvals, and ensuring timely order fulfilment. The role also includes responsibility for generating MIS reports and managing inspections, documentation, and vendor coordination.

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience Supply Chain Management for Wastewater / Chemical / MSW / Oil and Gas / Power Plant / Infrastructure projects.

Minimum Qualifications

• B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical) or relevant degree.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing of electro-mechanical materials and coordination with vendors.
• Track project cost vs. budget vs. price schedule throughout the project.
• Ensure timely supplier deliveries and handle dispatch/logistics coordination.
• Align procurement with project approvals and interdepartmental timelines.
• Support final inspections and manage related quality documentation
• Maintain procurement records and generate regular project MIS reports.
