At ePropelled, located in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, we design and manufacture advanced electric propulsion systems and power electronics. As we grow, we’re building a supply chain team to support our expanding production.

We’re looking for a Buyer/Planner who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and wants to grow their career in supply chain. This position is central to ensuring materials are available on time to meet production goals while maintaining efficient inventory levels.

Position Overview

The Buyer/Planner will be responsible for purchasing materials, components, and supplies to support production and day-to-day operations. This role will also be responsible for creating and managing work orders, monitoring inventory, and coordinating with production, engineering, and quality to ensure smooth operations.

This role reports to the Purchasing Manager and Head of Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Issue purchase orders for production materials, components, and general shop supplies.
  • Plan and release work orders (WOs) in the ERP system to meet production schedules and maintain stock levels.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder points; conduct follow-ups to avoid shortages.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering to ensure on-time material availability.
  • Maintain accurate data in the ERP system (POs, delivery dates, part numbers, BOMs).
  • Track supplier delivery performance and escalate issues when needed.
  • Support cycle counts and assist with stockroom organization when needed.
  • Collaborate with team members on process improvements.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of purchasing, planning, or inventory control experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo experience is a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
