Buyer/Planner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Buyer/Planner to join our team and drive excellence in procurement, inventory management, and supply chain coordination. Duties

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes using ERP systems to ensure timely sourcing of materials and components
• Coordinate with production planning teams to align procurement activities with manufacturing schedules and inventory requirements
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct inventory control audits, and implement replenishment strategies using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools to prevent stockouts or excess stock
• Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize transportation and distribution plans, ensuring efficient delivery of goods across supply chain channels
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, pricing agreements, and supplier performance metrics
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to foster collaboration
• Resolve issues related to delivery, pricing, quality, or quantity discrepancies
• Complete special projects and assignments as requested

Experience

• Proven experience in procurement management and sourcing strategies.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable pricing and contract terms.
• Knowledge of quality management principles related to product sourcing.
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning software.
• Understanding of supply chain management processes, including logistics coordination.
• Ability to analyze data effectively to inform purchasing decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration across departments.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational abilities.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
