Summary

"We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer and Planner to join our team in the United States. Based at our main office, this role is vital in managing procurement processes and ensuring seamless supply chain operations to support our welding projects and consulting services. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely sourcing of materials.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize costs.
• Oversee inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and availability of materials for ongoing projects.
• Coordinate production planning activities to align with project deadlines.
• Utilize Microsoft Access to complete multiple operations within the system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast needs and streamline supply chain processes.
• Monitor supply chain performance metrics and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access.
• Strong negotiation skills and contract management experience.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of materials management, inventory control, and logistics.
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports for decision-making.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
