Buyer/Procurement Agent - Consumer Electronics

Position Summary:
As a Buyer/Procurement Agent specializing in consumer electronics, you will play a critical role in managing our product inventory and supplier relationships. Your expertise in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing high-quality electronic products will ensure we meet customer demands while optimizing costs. You will work closely with suppliers, manage relationships, and stay on top of technology trends to maintain our competitive edge in a fast-paced industry.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Procurement:
Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable electronics manufacturers and suppliers to source innovative, high-quality products at competitive prices.

Vendor Management:
Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers and distributors to ensure consistent product quality, timely deliveries, and cost efficiency.

Negotiations:
Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and logistics agreements with vendors to maximize profitability while maintaining product standards and compliance.

Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels, forecast product demand, and manage replenishment orders to prevent shortages or overstock of key electronic items.

Market Research:
Stay informed on market trends, emerging technologies, and consumer preferences to identify new product opportunities and make strategic purchasing decisions.

Quality Assurance:
Ensure all procured products meet company standards for performance, safety, and regulatory compliance (FCC, CE, RoHS, etc.).

Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align procurement strategies with business goals and product launch timelines.

Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier performance, and inventory levels. Prepare regular procurement and cost analysis reports for management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Buyer, Procurement Agent, or similar role in the consumer electronics industry.
• Strong knowledge of electronics products, suppliers, and global market trends.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems, ERP platforms, and MS Office Suite.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
