About the Role

As part of our growing organizational structure, we are seeking an experienced Buying & Marketing Director who will lead our buying, category management, and marketing operations. This role will play a key part in strengthening our brand value, enhancing our product portfolio, and supporting sustainable growth across all sales channels.


Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field,
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in buying, category management, and marketing,
  • Advanced command of English,
  • Strong background in strategic buying, cost management, and supplier relationship management,
  • Requirement for negotiation experience with large international FMCG manufacturers,
  • Knowledge of Own Brand (Private Label/RB) product management and production processes,
  • Preferably experienced in CRM and E-commerce operations.


Core Responsibilities


Buying & Category Management

  • Develop short- and long-term category strategies,
  • Set sales targets, plan budgets & drive profitability,
  • Strengthening product and brand portfolio performance,
  • Manage relationships with local & international suppliers and manufacturers,
  • Optimize buying processes and ensure cost control,
  • Track market trends and drive innovation,
  • Develop planogram strategies to improve customer experience,
  • Provide regular commercial insights and updates as a member of the Executive Board.


Marketing Management

  • Develop marketing & communication strategies,
  • Lead E-commerce & CRM strategy development,
  • Oversee advertising, communication & promotional activities,
  • Plan integrated marketing efforts to boost brand awareness,
  • Drive campaign and promotional strategies.


Rossmann Brands (RB) Management

  • Lead branding & pricing strategies for RB products,
  • Oversee local production processes,
  • Manage sales, profitability & availability KPIs,
  • Ensure smooth execution of import operations.


Leadership

  • Build an efficient team structure & ensure operational excellence,
  • Align projects with company strategy,
  • Manage buying & marketing budgets,
  • Motivate and engage the team in line with company values,
  • Act as a key liaison between the Executive Board and the team,
  • Oversee performance and development plans.
