Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic To-go Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing to-go orders in a fast-paced environment. Your culinary experience and knowledge of food safety will ensure that all orders are prepared accurately and delivered promptly, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and package food items for takeout orders, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems to accurately process orders and handle transactions.
• Engage with customers to take orders, provide menu recommendations, and upsell items effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including bussing tables and cleaning surfaces as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders while maintaining quality standards.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices are followed.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours efficiently.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred, with a strong background in food service or the food industry.
• Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Strong sales skills with an emphasis on upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Basic math skills required for cash handling and retail math tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
