C-10 Licensed Qualifier / RMO Opportunity – Electrical Contractor

Jacob Electric is a growing and established electrical contractor with operations throughout multiple states and an excellent project history with no CSLB violations. We are currently seeking an experienced individual with an active California C-10 License to join our company as a Responsible Managing Officer (RMO) / Qualifier.

Position Overview

The selected candidate will serve as the company’s designated C-10 Qualifier/RMO and assist in overseeing electrical operations in compliance with California licensing requirements, NEC standards, and applicable safety regulations.

The role may also include field supervision, project coordination, and collaboration with our electricians, project managers, and construction teams on commercial and industrial electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Responsible Managing Officer (RMO) for Jacob Electric’s California electrical operations
• Ensure compliance with CSLB requirements, NEC codes, and jobsite safety regulations
• Assist with oversight of commercial and industrial electrical projects
• Review plans, specifications, and electrical drawings when necessary
• Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and field electricians
• Support quality control and safety procedures on active projects
• Provide professional guidance and leadership to field personnel
• Assist with inspections, troubleshooting, and project coordination as needed

Qualifications

• Active California C-10 Electrical Contractor License (Required)
• Clean CSLB license record
• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems
• Experience with NEC code compliance and construction site operations
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to pass a background check
• Good credit history/score preferred
