C++ Developer

A long-established, US-based leading software company is expanding its software development team in Lahore to build cutting-edge 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Home Design products. We are seeking best-in-class software engineers with a strong background in object-oriented programming, along with knowledge of database programming, interactive user interface development, and 2D/3D graphics application development.

To succeed in this role, candidates should collaborate effectively with team members in Lahore as well as colleagues in the United States and Europe.

The position requires expertise in modular architecture, mathematical models, and a solid foundation in object-oriented languages. Proficiency in maintaining legacy code is essential, and knowledge of Qt for cross-platform development (to unify our separate Windows and Mac Home Design products) will be considered a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

• Conception and implementation of software solutions
• Writing, editing, templating, and analyzing code in C++
• Maintaining and improving C++ code quality using the latest standards
• Applying knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Supporting legacy codebases while contributing to modernization efforts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science
• Three or more years of proven professional experience in software development (CAD or Home Design experience is a plus but not essential)
• Familiarity with Qt framework for cross-platform application development is highly desirable
