We are expanding our technical team and are looking for a Cabinet and Millwork Draftsperson / Technical Designer who is confident in producing detailed CAD drawings and coordinating with design and production teams.

Position Summary

This role is responsible for developing technical and shop drawings for custom cabinetry from design concept through production and installation.

We are open to mid-level and senior-level candidates with strong cabinetry experience who can work independently, manage multiple projects, and contribute to a collaborative, design-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Create detailed shop drawings and technical documentation for custom cabinetry and millwork
  • Produce plans, elevations, sections, and construction details
  • Translate design intent into manufacturing-ready drawings
  • Coordinate with designers, project managers, and production teams
  • Review and revise drawings based on client feedback, site conditions, and engineering input
  • Ensure accuracy of dimensions, materials, hardware, and tolerances
  • Maintain organized drawing sets and revision control
  • Provide technical support during production and installation as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience drafting kitchen cabinets or custom millwork
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Cabinet construction methods
  • Materials and finishes
  • Hardware systems (hinges, drawer systems, lift mechanisms)
  • Proficiency in:
  • AutoCAD
  • Revit
  • SketchUp
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Experience

  • High-end or luxury cabinetry projects
  • Multi-unit residential or hospitality-driven work
  • Coordination with manufacturing teams
  • Knowledge of installation requirements and field conditions

Language Requirements

  • Fluent English (required)
  • Spanish (preferred)

Compensation & Benefits
