Position Overview
Calista Cabinets is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Assembler to join our in-house manufacturing team.
This role focuses on assembling high-end, European-style frameless cabinetry in a fast-paced production environment. You will be responsible for building cabinets to exact specifications with consistency, speed, and precision.
This is not basic cabinet work—our product is fully custom, and quality standards are extremely high.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble cabinet boxes using pre-cut components (CNC processed parts)
- Install hardware including:
- Hinges
- Drawer systems (Blum or similar)
- Connectors and fasteners
- Ensure cabinets are square, level, and built to specification
- Read and follow shop drawings, labels, and production sheets
- Maintain consistent output to meet daily/weekly production targets
- Inspect all assembled cabinets for quality before moving to finishing or staging
- Keep workstations clean and organized
- Handle materials carefully to avoid damage to finished surfaces
Production Expectations
- Work in a team-based, high-output environment
- Follow standardized assembly processes for consistency
- Meet daily production goals without sacrificing quality
- Maintain speed and accuracy across repetitive tasks
Requirements
- Experience in cabinet assembly, woodworking, or similar trade preferred
- Ability to use basic tools (drills, clamps, squares, measuring tools)
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to read basic drawings and follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent work ethic
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
Preferred Experience
- Frameless (European-style) cabinetry
- Blum hardware systems
- Manufacturing or production line experience
- CNC-based cabinet production environments
