Cabinet Designer

Job Title: Cabinet Designer
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Project Manager - Cabinets

Job Summary: A Cabinet Designer at National Design Mart is responsible for working directly with customers to create functional and stylish kitchen and bath designs. This role requires strong technical skills, creativity, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion.

• Excellent customer service. Creation of kitchen and bath cabinet designs. (90%)

• Knowledge and Training (10%)

• Design kitchen and bath layouts using 2020 Design software.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, budget, and timeline.

• Prepare detailed drawings, renderings, and material specifications.

• Ensure designs meet industry standards and company guidelines.

• Coordinate with installers, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.

• Maintain accurate records of designs, revisions, and client communications.

• Proficiency in 2020 Design software (required).

• Minimum 2 years of experience in kitchen and bath design or cabinet design.

• Strong knowledge of cabinetry and hardware.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time.

• Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse.

• Retail Store/Office

Work Schedule:

• Full Time, 40 hours/week including Saturdays

• 30 minute uninterrupted lunch break
