Cabinet Designer & Selections Coordinator

About the Role

At NEPA Builders, we're hiring a full-time Design & Selections Coordinator - a hybrid creative and operations professional who thrives in both the showroom and materials procurement.

This person will help homeowners bring their visions to life, lead interior and exterior design selections, create custom cabinet layouts, and handle the procurement and ordering of materials that make our projects a success.

This role is perfect for someone with cabinet design experience who also enjoys coordinating materials across multiple scopes - like siding, windows, flooring, tile, and finishes - and can organize and document it all like a pro.

You'll work directly with homeowners, support Project Managers, and own our showroom experience - from cabinet layout drawings to tile boards and final PO submission. It's both creative and structured, with the chance to shape beautiful spaces and keep construction moving on time and on budget.

What You'll Do

• Lead clients through the material selection process, both interior and exterior
• Create functional and beautiful cabinet layouts using 2020 Design software
• Design kitchens, baths, laundry rooms, and mudrooms with a balance of aesthetics, function, and budget
• Coordinate appointments at tile, flooring, plumbing, and other material showrooms
Maintain the NEPA Builders showroom
• - keep samples current, displays fresh, and client appointments engaging
• Prepare purchase orders, track delivery timelines, and ensure material orders stay within budget
• Document all selections, updates, and approvals in Buildertrend
• Support Project Managers with change orders, selection tracking, and weekly project progress updates

What You Bring

• 2+ years of kitchen and bath cabinetry design experience, preferably in residential construction
• Proficiency with 2020 Design, ProKitchen, or equivalent cabinet design software
• Strong knowledge of interior and exterior building materials, such as cabinetry, siding, tile, and flooring
• Comfort with reading plans, discussing layouts, and helping clients balance beauty and practicality
Exceptional organization and follow-through
• - nothing slips through the cracks
• Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar construction project management tools (a plus)
• A passion for design, an eye for detail, and a servant-leadership mindset

Compensation & Benefits

• $55,000/year salary
• $2,500 annual bonus awarded when materials are consistently purchased at or under budget across all assigned projects for the year
• 10% bonus on qualifying procurement savings
