Cabinet Installer/ Finish Carpenter

Overview
Haste Woodcraft is a small cabinet business that specializes in custom cabinetry and semi-custom cabinetry. We are seeking an experienced cabinet installer. This individual will travel from our showroom and manufacturing facility in North Salem to job sites in Hendricks, Putnam, Boone, Marion, and Hamilton counties to install cabinets, hardware, and wood beams.

Duties

• Install cabinetry, hardware, and crown molding according to layouts
• Load and unload cabinets
• Travel to job sites in a company van or company truck and trailer
• Clean install debris from cabinetry and clean jobsite after yourself
• Meet and communicate with our team, including cabinet designers and cabinet builders

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience installing cabinetry and/or finish carpentry.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction and installation tasks.
• Ability to read blueprints and cabinet layouts accurately and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites. A driving background check will be conducted.

Pay/Benefits

• Starting pay of $25-40 is based on experience and skill level. Subsequent raises will be based on performance, drive, and ability to lead a crew. Pay could exceed what is listed in this job post.
• We are a small business that builds our own cabinets just west of Indy. We are currently a team of 15. We try to create and nurture a team feel here and respect and value our employees and 1099 subs.
• Company vehicle with fuel provided for travel to job sites.
• Tools provided.

• Weekend work is rare. M-F 8:00-5:00 is typically the schedule.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
