As a Cabinet Installer and cleaner, you will be responsible for removing and reinstalling painted cabinets or installing new cabinet doors, along with all related tasks necessary to complete a client’s project. Work will take place both in the client’s home and in the shop. You will also lead the cabinet cleaning process and help the painters prep for jobs.
- Ensure you have the tools and supplies for the job
- Monitor job supplies and tools, order if any supplies are getting low or tools are needed
- Lead assigned install/pickup
- Check bins for hinges, pulls, touchup paint etc for each job 2-3 days ahead of install
- Door cleaning: clean doors, monitor cleaning supplies, check cleaning quality
- Check all jobs being placed on racks for spraying, make sure that they are labeled and placed correctly
- Maintain wrapping area - monitor supplies, keep organized
- Check vehicles in the morning, make sure they have enough gas, fill as needed
- Ensure that all vehicles are unpacked and locked at the end of the day, report any issues to Manager
- Follow-up with customers if there are any issues regarding an install or pickup, add notes to Jobber
- Maintain cleaning/work area, take out recycling as needed
- Maintain kitchen, show room & bathrooms, clean as needed
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Previous cabinet install experience is preferred but training will be provided for all duties.
- Candidates must have a driver's license & reliable transportation
- A background check will be conducted
- Exceptional work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
REQUIRED TASKS
- Submit Jobber “Job Completion” checklist
- Report any issues with an install/pickup to Manager
- Inform Manager of any personnel issues.
- Create a ticket/task for any items brought back, enter in Jobber
- Record time in Jobber daily
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
