Cabinet/Closet Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cabinet/Closet Designer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will combine your passion for interior design with your expertise in cabinetry and closet organization to create customized storage solutions that elevate our clients’ spaces. You will engage with customers through both inside and outside sales, providing expert guidance from initial consultation to final installation. Your creativity, technical skills, and exceptional customer service will drive high-end sales and ensure client satisfaction with all or our projects.

Duties

• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and space requirements for custom cabinetry and closet systems
• Develop detailed layout designs using SketchUp, CAD, or other design software, incorporating lighting and aesthetic elements
• Present design proposals to clients, highlighting features, options for upselling, and value-added solutions
• Conduct product demos and explain the benefits of various materials, finishes, lighting options and accessories
• Manage the entire sales process while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Maintain our showroom to showcase the latest design options and new product offerings

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Proven experience in high-end sales, interior design, or cabinetry/closet planning with a strong portfolio of completed projects
• Proficiency in SketchUp, CAD software, and lighting design tools to create accurate layouts and visualizations
• Knowledge of renovation, remodeling, construction processes, and maintenance practices related to cabinetry and interior spaces
• Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to demonstrate product features through demos and educate clients on lighting and other accessories

Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
