CAC Director

Founded in 1903, Klingberg Family Centers is a private, nonprofit multi-service agency providing help and healing to children and families whose lives have been traumatized by abuse and/or neglect in its various forms, severe family problems, and mental health issues.

The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) Director provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and program development for the Children’s Advocacy Center. The Director ensures the delivery of trauma-informed, child-centered services to children and families impacted by abuse, neglect, and violence. This position supports the multidisciplinary team (MDT), maintains compliance with accreditation standards (such as those set by National Children's Alliance), and strengthens partnerships with law enforcement, child protective services, medical providers, mental health professionals, and prosecutors.

The Director is responsible for fiscal management, grant administration, community engagement, staff hiring and supervision, ensuring best-practice standards in forensic interviewing, advocacy, and victim services.

• Master's Degree in related field required (i.e. social work, criminal justice)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker or equivalent license preferred
• 3-5 years’ supervisory experience
• Experience working with Multidisciplinary Teams and Children’s Advocacy Centers
• Experience with CAC accreditation standards
• Experience in nonprofit leadership
