Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in architectural drafting and design, with proficiency in CAD software. This role involves preparing detailed drawings and schematics for construction and design projects while collaborating closely with architects and project teams.
Daily Responsibilities
- Create and update 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Collaborate with project teams to interpret design requirements and specifications.
- Convert sketches, notes, and redlines into precise, well-organized drawing sets.
- Conduct field measurements and verification as needed.
- Attend meetings and prepare detailed reports.
- Assist in developing layouts, floor plans, and site plans.
- Review and revise drawings based on team or client feedback.
- Ensure all drafting work complies with industry standards and regulations.
- Maintain organized documentation for all project drawings and revisions.
- Follow internal CAD and drawing standards to ensure consistency across documents.
- Support preparation of project proposals and presentations using graphic design tools.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure on-time delivery of drawing packages.
Requirements and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Suite, and CorelDRAW.
- Strong understanding of drafting principles, design standards, and construction processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a keen sense of layout, scale, and clarity.
- Familiarity with graphic design for presentations and proposals.
- Knowledge of interior design principles is a plus.
- Strong visual-spatial awareness and commitment to technical precision.
- Ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working under pressure, including occasional weekend work when required.
- Prior experience in a similar role or relevant internship experience preferred.

Pay: $21 - $26 (Or negotiated based on experience)
