Job Description:

· Design and 3D modeling of boiler system equipment

· Lead project design reviews internally and with outside vendors and customers

· Designate material specifications, part numbers and technical system requirements

· Calculate dimensions and specify tolerances on drawings

· Program CNC plasma burn table

· Identify areas for process or design improvement

· Produce 2D shop drawings for production in our manufacturing shop

· Work with manufacturing to improve drawing layouts and manufacturability of components

Qualifications:

· Proficient with Solidworks or similar 3D CAD software

· Experience in mechanical component and system design

· Excellent verbal & written communication skills

· Strong problem solving and analytical skills

· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

· Ability to work on multiple projects at a time

· Self-motivated and dedicated to meeting expectations of internal and external customers
