CAD Designer

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative CAD Designer to join our creative team! In this role, you will be at the forefront of transforming concepts into precise, detailed technical drawings and 3D models that drive project success. Your expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) software will enable you to craft compelling visualizations and detailed schematics for a variety of projects, including custom staircases, railings, luxury gates as well as commercial projects required by code.

Duties

• Develop accurate 2D drawings, schematics, and detailed plans using CAD software such as AutoCAD, micro-station fusion360, sketchup.
• Create and modify 3D models if needed
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, interior designers, and project managers to interpret design concepts into technical drawings.
• Prepare construction documents, system layouts, and graphic representations that meet project specifications and standards.
• Utilize software like SketchUp and Bluebeam for model rendering, markup reviews, and client presentations.
• Support the review process by checking drawings for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry codes and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, sketch up, MicroStation or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of drafting standards across architectural, mechanical or construction disciplines.
• Familiarity with graphic design principles and 2D animation techniques to enhance visual presentations.
• Knowledge of interior design concepts and system design processes is highly desirable.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics and create detailed drawings from conceptual sketches or verbal instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills for effective collaboration.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
